laptop history
Computing hardware is basically a process of information processing. The history of computing hardware includes the hardware, it’s architecture, and it’s impact on software. Computation machines have been used to aid computation for thousands of years. Some analog computers were invented in ancient times to perform astronomical calculations.
By the 1900s, earlier mechanical calculators, cash registers, accounting machines, and so on were redesigned. After then analog computers were introduced. These analog systems work by creating electrical analogs of other systems.
After analog technology of computing then digital computing was introduced in early 90s. Charles Babbage was titled as father of computer. For the first time IBM introduced a smaller, more affordable computer in 1954 that proved to be very popular.

Yeah, that’s right, the grocery store (Sounds strange, but I know a woman who’s done that). Or how about popcorn chicken, or Pop Tarts, or iPods? With the coolest sounding processor in recent memory, the Intel Atom has created a new way of thinking about computers with it’s high speed on such a low-cost/small-sized device.
The Network Computer
Oracle developed a desktop computer that relied solely on it’s programming. One Laptop Per Child Then, in 2005, the One Laptop Per Child organization was founded. Their goal was to create an affordable device to educate children in developing countries. The creation of the XO-1 solidified the mini notebook as a real-deal device, and more netbooks followed in it’s footsteps.
The Eee PC
Around that time, ASUS delivered what became the standard in mini notebooks, the Eee PC. Shortly after, Everex, MSI, Dell, and HP all developed their own mini notebooks and by late 2008, mini notebooks were starting to take money away from normal laptop sales.
Luke Berg writes articles that help people learn more about mini notebooks and also find out how to buy the best mini notebooks.
History And Issues Of Notebooks
Executive Summary By Roberto Sedycias

laptop computer history
A Notebook or commonly referred to as a laptop computer is a smaller version of the desktop computer. Notebooks run on a singular battery from (usually) an external AC/DC adapter. Numerous `notebooks` have a 3 volt back-up cell to supply power during power failures and when in places where there is no steady power supply.
Notebooks, as personal computers are worthy and capable of doing the same work as of desktop computers. Notebooks usually have LCD (liquid crystal displays) and they use separate memory modules for their RAM. A better installment of the laptop or the `notebook` came in 1983.
Compaq Portable was the first tech-product of Compaq and was a notebook version of the then hugely popular IBM Personal Computer. The `clamshell` design, or the `notebook` design, where the LCD monitor remains shut against the keypad, was introduced. Parts of the notebook are miniaturized parts of desktop computers themselves and hence are weaker in comparison.
The miniaturization process also takes a toll on the prices of the notebooks, which are generally higher priced than their desktop counterparts. Also, notebooks count a lot on steady power supply, even though supposed to be mobile, for a decent performance. Though, today technology has improved this negative facet of notebooks.
Performance Issues:
Desktop computers are generally high performing machines when compared to notebooks of the same price range. As energy and portability are prioritized goals for a notebook than absolute performance.
